Anthony Roth

Chief Investment Officer

Anthony “Tony” Roth is chief investment officer for Wilmington Trust Investment Advisors, Inc, the investment advisory arm of Wilmington Trust and M&T Bank. Tony plays a key role in developing and delivering investment services, and providing strategic direction for the firm’s asset management investment activities including asset allocation, manager research, and portfolio construction. Tony leads the firm’s Investment Committee.

Tony joined Wilmington Trust in 2014 with extensive experience in wealth management and investment advisory. Prior to joining Wilmington Trust, he was chief investment officer (CIO) for Aquitaine Management in New York. Before that, he worked for UBS Wealth Management Americas as CIO, where he founded the Ultra High-Net-Worth Chief Investment Office. Earlier in his career, he was founder and co-head of the Advisory Services Division at Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc., served as director of the Family Wealth Group at Sanford C. Bernstein & Co., and was a tax attorney at Cleary Gottlieb in New York.

Tony earned his law degree from Harvard Law School. He holds a master’s degree in French and international tax law from Université Panthéon Sorbonne, and graduated magna cum laude from Brown University with a degree in philosophy.

Doris P. Meister

Executive Vice President, Wealth and Institutional Services Division

Doris oversees M&T Bank’s Wealth Management business, including Wilmington Trust Wealth Management, M&T Securities, and Wilmington Trust Investment Advisors. She also serves as a member of M&T’s Management Committee.

Doris has more than three decades of experience in financial services and executive management. Prior to joining Wilmington Trust in 2016, she served as president of US Markets for BNY Mellon, was managing director of the New York office of Bernstein Global Wealth Management, founded and headed the Private Banking and Investment Group at Merrill Lynch, and headed the Private Bank at FleetBoston. She started her career at McKinsey & Co., Inc. where she was a member of the Financial Institutions Practice Group.

She holds a master’s degree in finance and marketing from The University of Chicago Booth Graduate School of Business and a bachelor’s degree in economics from Smith College.

Matthew D. Glaser

Nontraditional Investments, and Manager Research

Matt is responsible for overseeing equity, nontraditional investments, and manager research for Wilmington Trust Investment Advisors, Inc., the investment advisory arm of Wilmington Trust and M&T Bank.

Matt has more than two decades of experience in financial services and the investment management industry. He previously worked for Lazard Asset Management as a managing director and portfolio manager of the Lazard Master Alternatives Fund. Earlier in his career, he served as chief of investment strategies and executive managing director at Turner Investments, where he was a member of the Executive Management Group, Enterprise Risk Committee, and had oversight responsibility for the Turner Spectrum Fund. Matt also worked at Susquehanna International Group and as a managing director at J.P. Morgan and Robertson Stephens. He began working in the investment field in 1995.

Matt holds an MBA from Columbia University and a bachelor’s degree in history from Wesleyan University. He serves on the board of directors of SquashSmarts, a nonprofit academic and athletic mentoring program based in Philadelphia, and the board of the investment firm Cramer Rosenthal McGlynn, LLC in New York.

Dominick D’Eramo, CFA

Head of Fixed Income

Dominick directs 30 investment professionals including portfolio managers, credit analysts, and traders managing taxable and tax-exempt assets. He is responsible for the active management of institutional fixed income investments. He is also a voting member of the Wilmington Trust Investment Advisors (WTIA) Investment Committee, which formulates the firm’s asset allocation strategy, manager selection, and portfolio construction processes.

Dominick joined Wilmington Trust in 1986 as a senior fixed income trader supervising all trading of securities including money market instruments, Treasuries, Agencies, and corporate debt. During his tenure with the firm, he also served as a senior fixed income investment officer and most recently as director of Institutional Fixed Income, where he oversaw all operations and staff management.

He holds an MBA from Widener University and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Delaware. Dominick is a CFA® charterholder and member of the CFA Society Philadelphia, and has served as a grader for the Chartered Financial Analyst exam.

Luke Tilley

Head of Economics, Asset Allocation and Quantitative Services

As a member of Wilmington Trust’s Investment Committee, Luke develops forecasts of the U.S. and international economies, as well as researches emerging issues to support and enhance the firm’s investment strategy. Luke is also responsible for communicating the economic outlook and investment strategy to clients and the public.

Prior to joining Wilmington Trust in 2015, Luke was officer and economic advisor with the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia. Earlier in his career, Luke worked as a senior economist at IHS Global Insight and as an economist for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.

Luke holds a master’s degree and PhD in economics from Temple University, and a bachelor’s degree in economics and history from James Madison University. He is a former adjunct faculty member at Temple University and formerly served on the board of directors of the Pennsylvania Economic Association. In addition, Luke is former president of the Philadelphia Council for Business Economics, a chapter of the National Association for Business Economics.

Meghan Shue

Head of Investment Strategy and Portfolio Construction

Meghan is responsible for helping manage the end-to-end asset allocation process, developing market research, and communicating the investment team’s market outlook and positioning. She is also a member of the Investment Committee, which is responsible for deriving the firm’s strategic and tactical asset allocation positioning.

Prior to joining Wilmington Trust, Meghan was an investment strategist at Bessemer Trust, where she helped manage the asset allocation decision and implementation process, performed asset allocation and market research, and published pertinent thought leadership.

She holds an MBA with a concentration in finance from the University of Miami, where she was valedictorian of her graduating class. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering, with a concentration in operations research and financial engineering, from Princeton University.

Jason Hannon, CFA

Head of Municipal Strategy and Senior Fixed Income Portfolio Manager

Jason is responsible for developing tax-exempt fixed income strategy for Wilmington Trust Investment Advisors Inc. (WTIA), the investment advisory arm of Wilmington Trust and M&T Bank.

Jason has more than a decade of experience in the investment industry, specializing in fixed income investments. Prior to joining Wilmington Trust, he was a vice president and portfolio manager at Emigrant Bank/New York Private Bank & Trust; a principal and senior trader at Arbor Research & Trading; and an associate and municipal bond trader at Vanguard.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Pennsylvania State University and is a CFA® charterholder.

Andrew H. Hopkins, CFA

Head of Equity Research

Andy is responsible for overseeing the equity research program for Wilmington Trust Investment Advisors Inc. (WTIA), the investment advisory arm of M&T Bank and Wilmington Trust. He manages a team of professionals responsible for equity research and portfolio management for both domestic and international equities, and he is responsible for WTIA’s quantitatively managed equity strategies, which include both passive and active managers. These strategies utilize a risk model and optimization process in an effort to mitigate portfolio drawdown and volatility. Andy is a member of the fundamental portfolio management team for the following strategies: Disciplined Core, Dividend Growth, Enhanced Dividend Income, and International Enhanced Dividend Income.

Andy joined Wilmington Trust in 1987 and has specialized in investment accounting, pension disbursement, and 401(k) recordkeeping services during his tenure with the company. Prior to joining the equity research team, he was a portfolio manager in the Fixed Income division specializing in taxable, broad market portfolios.

Andy holds an MBA from Wilmington University and a bachelor’s degree in finance from Goldey- Beacom College. He is a CFA® charterholder, has been a CFA grader, and is a member of the CFA Society Philadelphia.

Mark D. Horst, CFA

Senior Portfolio Manager

Mark serves as an analyst and senior portfolio manager for Wilmington Trust Investment Advisors, Inc., the investment advisory arm of Wilmington Trust and M&T Bank. He is a member of the portfolio management team for the Dividend Growth Strategy and the Enhanced Dividend Income Strategy.

Mark has more than a decade of experience in institutional fundamental equity research and portfolio management. Prior to joining Wilmington Trust in 2013, he served as a senior equity analyst with Inverness Counsel, where he focused on identifying undervalued companies utilizing a GARP investment approach. Mark holds a master’s degree from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business and a bachelor’s degree in international business from Lehigh University.

He is a CFA® charterholder and member of the CFA Society Philadelphia.

Clement K. Miller, CFA

Senior Portfolio Manager

As part of Wilmington Trust Investment Advisors, Inc. (WTIA), the investment advisory arm of Wilmington Trust and M&T Bank, Clem is the portfolio manager for the Wilmington Multi-Manager International Fund. He is also the primary analyst for the selection of third-party investment managers for international equities and fixed income, including emerging markets, and is a voting member of the Investment Committee.

Prior to joining WTIA, Clem served in M&T Bank’s international trade finance group as team leader for export finance. Earlier in his career, he held several positions at the Export-Import Bank of the United States in Washington, DC, including as manager of the workouts division, loan officer, and country risk analyst. Clem served for two years as a member of a U.S. delegation to international trade negotiations. He was a member of the Credit Committee, which reviewed all transactions over $10 million. Prior to joining the Export-Import Bank, he was an international economist with Wharton Econometrics (later incorporated into IHS Insight).

Clem holds a master’s degree in finance and international business from George Washington University and a bachelor’s degree in international economics from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service. He is a CFA® charterholder and is treasurer of the CFA Society Baltimore, where he previously served two terms as its president.

Steve Norcini

Senior Equity Portfolio Manager

Steve serves as an analyst and senior portfolio manager for Wilmington Trust Investment Advisors, Inc., the investment advisory arm of Wilmington Trust and M&T Bank.

Steve has more than a decade of in-depth fundamental equity investing and portfolio management experience. Prior to joining Wilmington Trust, Steve managed a long short equity portfolio for a multibillion hedge fund that invests in multiple asset classes and strategies around the world. He was also responsible for the development of various fundamentally based quantitative investment and hedging strategies for the fund.

He holds a master’s degree from Columbia Business School and bachelor’s degree in accounting from Fairfield University. He is also a member of the investment committee for the Chester County Community Foundation.

Jordan Strauss, CFA

Senior Portfolio Manager

Jordan is a member of the Manager Strategies team at Wilmington Trust Investment Advisors, Inc., the investment advisory arm of Wilmington Trust and M&T Bank. He conducts third-party manager due diligence of alternative investment strategies including hedge funds, private equity, and private real estate.

Jordan has nearly a decade of investment industry experience. Prior to joining Wilmington Trust in 2014, Jordan worked with PNC for nearly two years in the Investment Advisor Research Group, conducting due diligence on alternative investment strategies. Earlier in his career, he spent four years researching hedge funds and serving as a fundamental equity analyst at Lionstone Capital Management in New York. Jordan began his investment career in 2005 at Natixis Capital Markets in New York working closely with the CLO, RMBS, and hedge fund lending businesses.

He holds a master’s degree in engineering from Columbia University and a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from the University of Vermont. Jordan is a CFA® charterholder.

Allen E. Choinski, CFA

Senior Research Analyst

Allen is responsible for quantitative equity research and portfolio management to support Wilmington Trust’s quantitatively managed equity funds. He also develops targeted quantitative models and processes to assist the fundamental research effort at the firm.

Prior to joining Wilmington Trust in 2007, Allen worked with Alpha Equity Management, LLC, where he researched and implemented quantitative equity investment strategies. Allen began his investment management career as a financial advisor at Smith Barney, and later worked for five years at ING’s Aeltus Investment Management, where he was responsible for both fundamental and quantitative research to support ING’s international equity funds.

Allen holds a master’s degree in Business Administration from Villanova University, and a bachelor’s degree in Engineering from Pennsylvania State University. He is member of the CFA Society of Philadelphia.

John W. Cranford, CFA

Portfolio Manager

John is responsible for managing several fixed income centralized solutions with short- and intermediate-term mandates. He also assists the Total Return Fixed Income team in managing institutional portfolios. His fixed income trading seeks to maximize relative value and monitor market trends. John strives to achieve the best trade executions for client accounts.

John joined Wilmington Trust in 2007 as a manager in the Trust & Custody Services department before moving to the Fixed Income Investment Management team in 2010 as a fixed income trader. His past experience includes working in various accounting positions with PFPC and Deutsche Asset Management.

He holds a master’s degree in finance from the University of Denver and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Appalachian State University. He is a CFA® charterholder and a member of both the CFA Institute and CFA Society Philadelphia.

Gerard “Gerry” Durr

Senior Research Analyst

Gerry is a senior research analyst within the municipal fixed income group at Wilmington Trust Investment Advisors, Inc., the investment advisory arm of Wilmington Trust and M&T Bank. He has expertise in all municipal credit sectors, with current focus on transportation and Puerto Rico. Gerry also has a strong overall management history, with a successful track record in building client relationships, marketing, project management, product development, team building, operations, planning, and strategic initiatives.

Prior to joining Wilmington Trust in 2014, Gerry served as a consultant at several organizations including the National Association of Insurance Commissioners and spent 16 years at Ambac Assurance Corporation. There, he was a member of the Public Finance Senior Credit Committee and became a director of the firm’s General Municipal Underwriting Unit, which conducted credit underwriting of general obligation, tax revenue, and utility revenue bond securities issued throughout the nation. Earlier in his career, he was with the New York State Environmental Facilities Corporation where he worked on the New York State Water Pollution Control Loan Program. He began his career in 1987 as a municipal credit analyst at Moody’s Investors Service.

Gerry holds a master’s degree in public administration from the Maxwell School of Syracuse University and a bachelor’s degree in in history and political science from LeMoyne College. He is a member of the National Federation of Municipal Analysts and the Municipal Analyst Group of New York.

Joseph M. Fahey Jr., CFA

Vice President

Joe is responsible for the portfolio management and credit research function for Wilmington Trust’s pooled money market funds. He specializes in designing and implementing strategies to help maximize current income for his clients, while preserving capital and liquidity.

Joe joined Wilmington Trust in 1981 and has specialized in portfolio management and trading during his tenure with the company. He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Delaware and is a CFA® charterholder.

James M. Hannan

Senior Portfolio Manager

Jim is responsible for developing taxable fixed income strategy for Wilmington Trust Investment Advisors Inc. (WTIA), the investment advisory arm of Wilmington Trust and M&T Bank. He manages separately managed accounts and is a co-manager of the Wilmington Broad Market Bond Fund.

Jim joined WTIA in 1995 and has more than three decades of experience in managing and trading fixed income securities and money market instruments. Earlier in his career, he was a money market trader and was the City Treasurer of the city of Hyattsville, Maryland.

Jim holds an MBA with a concentration in finance and investments from George Washington University and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland. He has been quoted in The Washington Post and Bloomberg and has appeared on CNBC’s Squawk Box. Jim is a volunteer on the Sheppard Pratt Health System investment committee.

Jimi Honochick, CFA

Equity Research Analyst

Jimi serves as a research analyst for Wilmington Trust’s portfolio managers, providing bottom-up fundamental research. He serves the group in the consumer discretionary and telecom sectors, with particular expertise in media.

Since 2013, Jimi has worked as an equity research analyst in several capacities, including focusing on applying a value-investing framework to small- and mid-cap stocks at the boutique firm C.L. King. He also brings industry experience to his media research from five years of working in television production. He holds an MBA from Columbia University and a bachelor’s degree in communications from Villanova University. He is a CFA® charterholder and a member of the CFA Society Philadelphia.

Jane T. Joseph, CFA

Senior Research Analyst

Jane provides research and analysis of investment-grade bonds in the energy, chemicals, paper/forest products, and metals and mining sectors for Wilmington Trust’s Taxable Fixed Income Research group.

Prior to joining Wilmington Trust in 2014, she followed these same sectors for seventeen years at BNY Mellon/Dreyfus for the Dreyfus money market funds and BNY Mellon cash investment strategies. Earlier in her career, she evaluated counterparties in the oil and gas and chemical sectors for Merrill Lynch & Company and she rated utility bonds for the National Association of Insurance Commissioners.

Jane holds a master’s degree in finance from New York University’s Leonard N. Stern School of Business and a bachelor’s degree in English Literature from Binghamton University. She is a CFA® charterholder and a member of the CFA Society Philadelphia. Jane has taught financial statement analysis for the New York Institute of Finance.

Craig E. Lancaster

Senior Credit Analyst

Craig is responsible for analyzing investment grade and high-yield companies for Wilmington Trust’s Fixed Income Management Group.

He joined Wilmington Trust in 2007 with more than two decades of experience in the securities industry. Earlier in his career, Craig served as a vice president and senior credit analyst for RBC Capital Markets in New York, and was also a vice president and senior credit analyst in the Balanced Capital Fund at Merrill Lynch Investment Managers in Princeton, New Jersey. He also served in fixed income analyst positions at Merrill Lynch Capital Markets, Manufacturers Hanover Trust Company, and Metropolitan Life Insurance Company.

Craig holds a master’s degree in finance from Pace University and a bachelor’s degree in economics from Fairleigh Dickinson University.

Maureen Lawrence

Portfolio Manager

Maureen manages client portfolios and executes trades for the Municipal Fixed Income group, and is specifically responsible for Wilmington Trust’s Quality Fixed Income Municipal Bond portfolios. She collaborates with portfolio management team members and credit analysts to position portfolios to reflect the team’s current strategy.

She has more than three decades of experience in the investment industry, and joined Wilmington Trust in 1999 as a municipal bond trader/portfolio manager. Maureen holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Holy Family University.

Jason R. Lee

Equity Research Analyst

Jason is responsible for providing fundamental equity research to Wilmington Trust’s portfolio managers. He serves as a generalist with particular expertise in the industrials sector. Jason is a member of the portfolio management team for the Disciplined Core Strategy, Dividend Growth Strategy, and the Enhanced Dividend Income Strategy.

He joined Wilmington Trust in 2015 starting in the Wealth Management division. He then worked on the Portfolio Construction team before joining the Equities Management team in 2016.

Jason holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Pennsylvania.

John J. Malloy Jr.

Municipal Bond Portfolio Manager

John is responsible for managing tax-exempt assets including a common trust fund, mutual funds, and separately managed accounts. He uses key rate duration to provide the client’s portfolio with the interest rate exposure of the proper benchmark index.

He also conducts continual yield curve and volatility analyses in order to maximize total return and minimize risk across his municipal fixed income portfolios.

John joined Wilmington Trust in 2006, specializing in municipal bond trading and portfolio management. Earlier in his career, he was a senior fixed income trader at The Vanguard Group.

He holds a master’s degree in finance from Saint Joseph’s University and a bachelor’s degree in health administration from Arcadia University, with minor concentrations in business administration and economics.

Karl T. (“Ted”) Molin

Vice President

Ted is a senior credit analyst within the municipal fixed income group at Wilmington Trust Investment Advisors, Inc., the investment advisory arm of Wilmington Trust.

Ted joined Wilmington Trust in January 2011. Prior to that, he was a senior municipal credit analyst at Ambac Assurance Corporation in New York, where he worked for two decades in various roles, most recently as a first vice president in public finance portfolio risk management, specializing in appropriation debt, higher education, and transportation revenue bonds. Earlier in his career, he was a public finance attorney with Hawkins Delafield & Wood LLP in New York.

Ted holds a JD from the University of Virginia School of Law and a bachelor’s degree with honors in American Studies from Amherst College. He is a member of the Municipal Analysts Group of New York, the National Federation of Municipal Analysts, and the New York State Bar Association.

Eugene J. Paloni

Portfolio Manager

Gene is responsible for developing customized investment portfolios for his clients based on their unique parameters for risk, return, liquidity, and other factors. He is responsible for the active management of institutional fixed income including community banking relationships, managed care portfolios, as well as construction portfolios. Gene continually monitors and periodically rebalances his clients’ portfolios to reflect their evolving needs and to pursue new investment opportunities. He executes trading of securities including money market instruments, Treasuries, Agencies, Corporate Debt, Agency Mortgage-Backed Securities, and Municipal obligations.

Gene joined Wilmington Trust in 1993 as part of Rodney Square Management Corporation, where he served as an accountant for the Rodney Square Funds. During his tenure with Wilmington Trust, he was part of the Investment Accounting team before joining the Fixed Income group in 2006.

He holds a bachelor’s degree from Widener University as well as the CPA designation.

Vasan Param

Senior Research Analyst

Vas is responsible for analyzing investment grade companies in the consumer non-cyclical sector for the Fixed Income Management Group. In addition, he is responsible for updating models used in support of the credit, sector, and duration management processes.

Vas joined Wilmington Trust in 1993 and has also served as an equity analyst during his tenure with the company. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration, with a concentration in finance, from the University of Delaware.

He serves on the finance committee of the executive board of the Blood Bank of Delmarva.

Thomas R. Pierce, CFA

Head of Fixed Income Research and Strategy / Co-Portfolio Manager MSIS

Tom is the head of Fixed Income Research and Strategy at Wilmington Trust Investment Advisors, Inc. (WTIA), the investment advisory arm of M&T Bank and Wilmington Trust. In that capacity, he is in charge of selecting fixed income manager solutions and investment vehicles. He is also the co-portfolio manager of the Multi-Strategy Income Solution (MSIS) as well as a voting member of the WTIA Investment Committee, which is responsible for deriving the firm’s strategic and tactical asset allocation positioning.

Tom joined M&T Bank in 1995, which acquired Wilmington Trust in 2011, and has more than three decades of experience in the investment industry, encompassing multiple asset classes.

Tom holds a master’s degree from the University of Chicago and a bachelor’s degree in economics from Washington University in St. Louis. He is a CFA® charterholder.

Karen Purzitsky, CFA

Senior Quantitative Analyst

Karen is responsible for the development and implementation of the quantitative models that support the equity strategies.

Karen has nearly two decades of investment experience with Wilmington Trust Investment Advisors, Inc. and its parent company, M&T Bank, where she was a quantitative analyst focused on stock selection strategies for the domestic equity market.

She holds a master’s degree in finance and accounting from the University of Rochester and a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and economics from York University, Toronto, Canada.

Zia E. Qasim

Portfolio Manager

Zia is responsible for managing short-duration fixed income portfolios and assists in the management of the Wilmington Trust Money Market Funds.

Zia began his career at Wilmington Trust in 2003 as a trader on the fixed income trading desk, where he executed numerous trades and monitored market trends and security information. From 2005 - 2007, he worked for The Vanguard Group as a tax-exempt money market trader for national and state money market funds. He rejoined Wilmington Trust in 2007.

He holds masters’ degrees in international business and business administration as well as a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Delaware.

Wilmer C. Stith III, CFA

Senior Portfolio Manager

Wilmer co-manages the Wilmington Short Term Bond Fund, the Wilmington Broad Market Bond Fund, and the Wilmington Intermediate Term Bond Fund. He also manages institutional separate accounts with intermediate and long-term fixed income objectives, as well as money market accounts.

Wilmer has more than two decades of fixed income investment experience. Prior to joining M&T Bank in 1995, which acquired Wilmington Trust in 2011, he was an investment executive with the Treasury Banking Group of First National Bank of Maryland in Baltimore.

He holds a master’s degree from Loyola College in Maryland and an undergraduate degree from Kenyon College. He has been quoted in various financial periodicals including The Wall Street Journal and Barrons’ magazine. Wilmer has also made several TV appearances on CNBC, Bloomberg TV, and the Fox Business Channel.

Karleen C. Strayer, CFA

Senior Research Analyst

Karleen is a senior research analyst within the Municipal Fixed Income Group at Wilmington Trust Investment Advisors, Inc., the investment advisory arm of M&T Bank and Wilmington Trust.

Prior to joining Wilmington Trust, she was a managing director at National Public Finance Guarantee Corporation, a financial guarantor subsidiary of MBIA, Inc. During her 19 years at MBIA, Karleen managed teams in the areas of new business, insured portfolio management, and remediation, primarily focusing on the not-for-profit healthcare sector. She began her career as a commercial banker in the not-for-profit healthcare group within the First National Bank of Chicago.

Karleen holds an MBA from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business and a bachelor’s degree in economics from Nebraska Wesleyan University. She is a CFA® charterholder and member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society Philadelphia. Karleen is also a member of the Municipal Analysts Group of New York, the National Federation of Municipal Analysts, and the Philadelphia Area Municipal Analyst Society. She serves as a board member and is immediate past board chair of The Music School of Delaware.

Robert J. Tice

Assistant Vice President

Robert is a credit analyst within the Municipal Fixed Income Group at Wilmington Trust Investment Advisors, Inc., the investment advisory arm of M&T Bank and Wilmington Trust.

Prior to joining the research team in 2015, Robert was a municipal bond trader responsible for trading regionally managed and cash management accounts. Earlier in his career, he was an assistant-specialist with Pershing Trading Company on the floor of the Boston Stock Exchange and also held positions with The Vanguard Group.

Robert holds a master’s degree in business administration from Wilmington University and a bachelor’s degree in finance from St. Joseph’s University. He is a member of the Municipal Analysts Group of New York, the National Federation of Municipal Analysts, and the Philadelphia Area Municipal Analysts Society.

Randy H. Vogel, CFA

Dir. of Taxable Research and Senior Portfolio Manager

Randy is responsible for all investment-grade credit research for taxable fixed income. He oversees the credit review process, which includes a thorough analysis and review of approved issuers. Randy is also responsible for assisting in the management of taxable fixed income portfolios. He provides an analysis of trends in the credit markets and identifies relative value opportunities that may help to maximize performance and minimize risk across taxable fixed income portfolios.

Randy re-joined Wilmington Trust in 2008 after spending two years with PNC Capital Advisors as a senior credit analyst covering the banks, brokerage, utility, and telecommunications industries.

He holds a master’s degree from Temple University and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Delaware. He is a CFA® charterholder and a member of the Financial Analysts of Philadelphia.

Wendy M. White

Senior Portfolio Manager

Wendy is responsible for managing short-term fixed income portfolios. She closely monitors the movement of interest rates in order to make the best fixed income duration decisions. Wendy also conducts continual yield curve and client cash flow analyses in order to help maximize return and minimize risk across her fixed income portfolios.

Wendy joined Wilmington Trust in 1989 as a securities trader in the fixed income division. She has more than three decades of fixed income experience. Her experience includes managing short-term portfolios, trading fixed income and money market instruments, and monitoring interest rate movements and market trends.

She holds an MBA and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Delaware.

Suzanne M. Wyant

Fixed Income Portfolio Manager

Suzanne is responsible for managing short-term fixed income portfolios for Wealth Management and Institutional Client Services clients. She closely monitors the movement of interest rates in order to make the best fixed income duration decisions. Suzanne also conducts continual yield curve and client cash flow analyses in order to maximize return and minimize risk across her fixed income portfolios.

Suzanne joined Wilmington Trust in 2000 as a trader on the fixed income trading desk, where she executed numerous transactions and monitored market trends and security information.

She holds an MBA from Widener University and earned her bachelor’s degree in finance from West Chester University.

Karl Zeller

Senior Business Development Officer

Karl is responsible for distribution of Wilmington Trust’s full array of investment management capabilities to institutions, consultants, and financial intermediaries. He has two decades of business development and client service experience in the investment management industry and an extensive background in building successful distribution partnerships.

Prior to joining Wilmington Trust, Karl was a senior vice president at CenterSquare Investment Management, responsible for developing and strengthening institutional, financial intermediary, and sub-advisory relationships. Previously, he was managing director and principal at Turner Investments, leading the firm’s financial intermediary and sub-advisory distribution. Karl’s past experience also includes Rittenhouse Financial and Legg Mason.

Karl holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia.

Nicholas A. Adams

Nick is responsible for introducing corporate clients to Wilmington Trust’s institutional investment management, escrow, corporate trust, and other capital markets services. He focuses his efforts on serving the financial needs of institutional clients, governmental agencies and authorities, healthcare, higher education, and other large corporate clients, frequently working on M&A/transactional matters.Nick is responsible for introducing corporate clients to Wilmington Trust’s institutional investment management, escrow, corporate trust, and other capital markets services.  He focuses his efforts on serving the financial needs of institutional clients, governmental agencies and authorities, healthcare, higher education, and other large corporate clients, frequently working on M&A/transactional matters.

Nick has more than a decade of financial experience with state and local governments. Prior to joining Wilmington Trust, he served as Deputy State Treasurer for the state of Delaware, where he was responsible for the direct management and oversight of all day-to-day operations of the State Treasurer’s Office. This included an annual operating budget of nearly $400 million dollars, defined benefit plans in excess of $500 million dollars, and an investment portfolio of nearly $2 billion dollars. Prior to his service in the Treasurer’s Office, Nick spent nearly a decade in Delaware’s State Auditor’s Office, serving in a variety of roles.

Nick holds a bachelor’s degree from Wilmington University. He is a member of the Government Finance Officers Association and is actively involved with the Delaware State Chamber of Commerce. Nick serves as a board member of Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Delaware and is a regular volunteer and speaker for the Delaware Financial Literacy Institute/The Money School.

Mary Alice Avery

Mary Alice is responsible for introducing institutional clients to Wilmington Trust’s Investment Management, Escrow, Corporate Trust, and Entity Management capabilities. She focuses her efforts on serving the financial needs of governmental agencies and authorities, healthcare, financial institutions, insurance companies, higher education, and other large corporate clients.

Mary Alice has more than two decades of experience in the corporate trust industry and has a broad base of expertise, including institutional investment management, custody, and services for special purpose vehicles. Prior to joining Wilmington Trust, she worked for the financial services subsidiary of a local public accounting firm. Earlier in her career, she served as an assistant controller for a manufacturing company in the Philadelphia area.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Roanoke College, and is a member of the Financial Managers Society, M&T Bank’s Women’s Interest Network (WIN), as well as a number of national and state banking associations.
